The Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two notorious armed robbery suspects who carry out operations along the Doma-Rukubi Road in Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The suspects Saidu Isah and Abdullahi Basso, the police say were caught dressed in military camouflage on Sunday night 25th, February ,2024 by operatives attached to Ekye Division during an ambush on the criminals at Kwanar Kare, a dangerous spot along Doma-Rukubi Road.

Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, in a statement said that the suspects had confessed to the crime and the sum of three hundred thousand Naira, dangerous weapons among other items were recovered from them.
The statement also revealed that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Shehu Umar Nadada, reiterated the command’s readiness to sustained onslaught against criminal elements, while praising the officers for being committed to protecting the lives and property of the people.
