Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to completing all ongoing infrastructure projects on schedule.

The Governor said this during an inspection of the both the Keffi and Akwanga flyover projects.
The Governor explained that the Keffi flyover project faced major technical challenges, particularly the protection of the main water pipeline from Gudi Waterworks to Meloni Hill. He however, said work is progressing steadily as he told the contractors to proceed carefully to avoid disrupting water supply. Sule also wants them to manage traffic flow without causing hardship to residents.

The current phase of the Keffi flyover project is expected to be completed by April, with the remaining section projected to take another three months.
Governor Sule expressed confidence that the project will be completed and commissioned before the end of the administration’s tenure.
On Akwanga flyover project, the Governor said it is technically completed, with only finishing works left. He explained that the inauguration of the project has been shifted to around April due to the Ramadan fast.
He added that delays on the bypass were caused by difficulties in sourcing laterite materials, but the project is now nearing completion.
The Governor maintained that both projects are progressing as planned and will be delivered within schedule.
