The main entrance to the National Assembly complex will from Monday, June 24 be temporarily shut to allow for demolition and reconstruction
The notice is contained in a letter read by the president of the Senate Ahmad Lawan during plenary
According to the letter, the contract which requires demolition and reconstruction of the national assembly main gate will have a full complement of security gadgets with accreditation
Traffic into the national assembly will be diverted, as Legislators and top management staff are expected to use the presidential gate while other staff and visitors will use the annex gate from Monday 24th June 2022.
