Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde and other stake holders at the national democracy Summit organised by Oyo state government have identified failure in Governance, inept leadership , fragmented political parties, trust deficits, rapid corruptions amongst others as some factors working against Nigeria’s democracy.

Governor Seyi Makinde says true Federalism is the future of Nigeria’s democracy but, the level of insecurity the country is experiencing now is responsible for the seeming lack of development in the Country.
They called for autonomy for the federating states.
