The national digital trial census is progressing at the designated areas mapped out for the exercise in Ebonyi State, South East, Nigeria.
Reports from enumerators in the field so far, is that of a mixed bag.

This is Agbaja Unuphu community in Izzi Council Area, one of the designated areas for the ongoing trial census.
Officials of the Population Commission are sighted on the roads and at residential buildings, as they strive to meet their target, with just hours to end the sample exercise.
David Ofoke and his household have just been enumerated, he feels good about it.
For some of the officials conducting the exercise, the hitches encountered so far are minimal, and to others, much work needs to be done by the relevant authorities ahead of the actual census slated for 2023.
The National Population Commission, NPC is using the trial census exercise as test cases for final preparations, as all grey areas pointed out would be addressed ahead of the 2023 actual head count in Nigeria.
