The federal government through National Health Fellowship programme has recruited 44 healthcare personnel in Kano, for specialized healthcare training
Speaking to journalists shortly after the Interview exercise, Mahmud Tajo, the chairman of Gaya local government area in Kano state who doubles as ALGON Chairman said the initiative focuses on engaging qualified health professionals to oversee healthcare delivery at the local government level, with the aim of aligning Nigeria’s health system with global standards and guaranteeing access to quality healthcare services for all citizens.
The National Health Fellows Programme is a one-year structured fellowship established by the Federal Government of Nigeria and housed under the Sector-Wide Approach (SWA) Coordination Office within the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
