The Nigerian Army is engaging the services of veterans from the south-west region to tackle issues of insecurity ravaging the nation.
The veterans who converged on Ibadan are expected to rub minds with their contemporary colleagues on how to positively tackle this menace and also forge national cohesion.
Speaking at a workshop , the chief of army staff represented by the chief of administration major-general U.S Mohammed said the role of veterans cannot be over emphasized at critical times like this.

The General Officer commanding 2 division admonished participants to use the opportunity to engender national cohesion.
The event was declared open by Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde, who was represented by his chief of staff.
