Nigerians have once again been advised not to undermine their diversity, as it offers an opportunity for growth and unity.
This sentiment was strongly echoed by Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State, during a public lecture, marking one year of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The public lecture with the theme, “Our Diversity, Our Strength,” brought together prominent speakers, who emphasised the significance of nationalism for national unity and pride.
The event underscored the critical role of national solidarity in Nigeria’s development.
Keynote Speaker, Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State, urged all Nigerians to embrace nationalism instead of sectionalism, to build a stronger, more unified country.
One after the other, speakers passionately articulated how the country’s diverse cultures complement each other, enhancing the strength of Nigeria as a whole.
The message of the lecture was clear; unity and diversity are central to the nation’s progress.
