A Christian cleric, Rev. Kayode Ojuola, has advised the Federal government to listen to the complaints of planners of #EndBadGovernance in the face of worsening hardship in Nigeria.
The cleric gave the advice during the fourth year anniversary celebration of the Aids for Orphans, Widows and Vulnerable People Initiative, in Lokoja on Saturday.
Rev Ojuola explains that Nigerians are currently living below poverty level hence the need for quick intervention by the federal government before things get worse.
He Appealed to the aggrieved protesters to engage in dialogue with the government while reminding governments of the effects of the EndSARS protest in 2020 which was hijacked by hoodlums, leading to loss of precious lives and the destruction of property.
In a message to the occasion, the Kogi Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Monday Anyebe, also appealed to the planners of the protest and Youths in kogi state to pursue peace by allowing government to fully implement its many pro people policies and programmes.
The #EndBadGovernace is slated to hold between 1st to August 10th 2024.
