More than nine hundred delegates from the thirty-six states and the federal capital territory are about to commence voting for new leaders of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ.
They are expected to elect leaders who are contesting in ten positions out of nineteen.
The positions to be contested include the national president, deputy national president, national secretary, national treasurer, and national internal auditor.
Others are the zonal vice president – zone E, zonal vice president – zone C, zonal secretary – zone C, zonal secretary zone – D and zonal secretary – zone E.

Already, agents of the contestants have been presenting themselves before the credentials committee for screening.
The process has so far been peaceful, as delegate tags have been distributed to the Zonal Officers for the eligible delegates.
