The Nigerian Bar Association held a valedictory session in honour of Yunus Usman, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 67.
Senior members of the bench, bar, and dignitaries gathered to pay glowing tributes to his exemplary life and contributions to the legal profession.
The Nigerian legal community gathered at the Kaduna State High Court complex to pay their final respects to Yunus Ustaz Usman, SAN, a towering figure in Nigerian law.
The court complex was filled with reverence as senior members of the legal profession, alongside dignitaries and well-wishers, reflected on the loss of a man who dedicated his life to championing justice.
Kaduna State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Sule Shu’aibu, captured the magnitude of the loss.
Other members of the bench highlighted that Yunus Usman was a man who tirelessly provided justice to those who could not speak for themselves.
While the legal community has undoubtedly lost a legend, even in their grief, they took comfort in knowing that his legacy will endure.
