The Attorney General of the federation and minister of justice , Lateef Fagbemi has denied rumours circulating on social media that President Bola Tinubu’s alleged endorsement of a candidate in the ongoing Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) election
Fagbemi categorically stated that at no time did the President give any such instruction and he will not endorse anyone as a preferred candidate in the ongoing NBA election.
That President Tinubu will respect the outcome of a free and fair election and is prepared to work with any candidate who emerges victorious.
Fagbemi therefore called on those attempting to cause rancour among NBA members or between the President and the NBA to cease such activities.
