The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 125 new cases of Covid19 within the country in the last 24 hours. Figures released by the Centre indicate that Nigeria now has 209,298 cases of infection since after the first case on February 27, 2020.
A breakdown shows that FCT has the highest of 45, Kaduna 34, Rivers 11 while Lagos and Osun have 10 cases each.
Oyo recorded 9 cases, Jigawa, Edo and Kano 2 each while Plateau recorded 1 case.
197, 143 persons have been successfully treated and 2,837 fatalities have been recorded.
