The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 1368 new cases of Covid-19 in the country.
Lagos State, the financial hub of the country recorded the highest figure of 844 cases.
The Federal Capital Territory FCT had 209 cases, while Oyo recorded 58 Abia 51, Ondo 39, and Ogun 30.
Kaduna had 26 new cases, Delta 20, Akwa Ibom 17 while Osun had 15 Ekiti 12, Anambra, and Zamfara recorded 7 cases each Cross River, Kano, Kwara, and the Rivers States all had 6 Cases each.

Bauchi state recorded 5 new infections while Gombe had 3 and Plateau 1.
The Disease Control body says it has so far confirmed 225,255 cases in Nigeria, while 211,660 patients were treated and discharged 2,985 deaths have so far been recorded.
