NCPWD Congratulates Mr. Ayuba Gufwan on His Appointment as Executive Secretary

The National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD), along with its incumbent Executive Secretary, Dr. James David Lalu, PhD, npom, is delighted to congratulate Mr. Ayuba Gufwan on his appointment as the new Executive Secretary of the NCPWD by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Mr. Ayuba Gufwan, a renowned advocate for persons with disabilities, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the advancement of disability rights in Nigeria. His appointment marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for persons with disabilities across the nation.

Dr. James David Lalu, who has led the Commission with dedication and vision, extends his best wishes to Mr. Gufwan. Reflecting on his tenure, Dr. Lalu said, “It has been an honor to serve as the Executive Secretary of the NCPWD. I am confident that Mr. Ayuba Gufwan’s leadership will continue to drive the Commission towards achieving greater milestones in advocating for and empowering persons with disabilities.”
