NDA cadets to join senior colleagues in their bid to secure nation

The 68/69th Regular Cadets of the Nigeria Defence Academy, NDA, are set to join their senior colleagues in the Army in all the formations presently undergoing military operations across the country.

The Commandant of the Academy, Major General Jamil Sarham, who led cadets of the institution on a study tour to the Nigerian Army Super Camp 4, Faskari in Katsina State said, with the tremendous successes recorded by Operation Sahel Sanity, the cadets’ morale have been boosted and they are eager to contribute their quota to securing the nation.

The cadets are in their final and second years respectively, at the Nigeria Defence Academy.

The commandant of the Academy, Major General Sarham, commended the troops for the successes recorded so far, as a result of their resilience.

While noting that the super camp is a new and laudable initiative of the Nigerian army, he said that with the first-hand information received by the cadets, they are now prepared and eager to contribute their quota to national security.

While commending the troops of Operation Sahel Sanity, Major General Sarham, urged them to continue to uphold professionalism, as seen in the confidence building that has resulted to farmers going back to their farmlands, businesses picking up, as well as the appreciable return of peace, to the troubled areas.
