The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC is to provide N30 billion to support the growth of small and medium scale businesses in the Niger Delta region.
NDDC Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku stated this, during the sensitisation workshop on the establishment of the Niger Delta Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Trade, Mines and Agriculture, NDCCITMA.
Dr. Ogbuku said the N30 billion has been earmarked in the 2024 NDDC budget, for the take-off of the chambers of commerce.

He urged entrepreneurs to take advantage of the NDDC gesture to grow their businesses and the region’s economy.
Other speakers commended the NDDC management for the establishment of the Chambers of Commerce.
The sensitisation workshop will be extended to other states of the Niger Delta region.
