The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) says it will continue to train, mentor and empower youths of the Niger Delta region.
The Managing Director of NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku made the commitment during the graduation of three hundred youths trained in different skills, under the NDDC technical skills programme in Port harcourt.
According to Ogboku, the capacity building training is part of president Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda policy to empower youths of the Niger Delta region with technical skills.
He added that the NDDC will continue to sustain close bond with the beneficiaries, through continous mentorship.

The Director of community and industrial development, Lyna Okara says the NDDC identified and pursued the four key areas due to their importance to the region’s economy.
The beneficiaries were selected from across the nine states of the Niger Delta region.
