The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, says all hands must be on deck to restore the nation’s ecosystem.
The Interim Administrator of the NDDC, Efiong Akwa, stated this in Port Harcourt at an event to mark the 2021 World Environment Day, with the theme “ecosystem restoration”.

The world environment day is celebrated globally and the gathering of key players to Port Harcourt by the NDDC is to rekindle the need to protect and restore the ecosystem.
Akwa said the NDDC and other partners have great role to play to ensure a healthier ecosystem with rich biodiversity.
Amongst agencies which were present were HYPREP, NESDRA, environmental societies, federal and state ministries of environment.
