The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has been repositioned and strengthened to operate as one of the most outstanding public service institutions in Nigeria.
This was disclosed by the Managing Director of the Commission, Samuel Ogbuku, during a retreat for NDDC staff in Cross River State, held at Uyo.
With the theme “Enhancing Public Service Excellence,” the retreat was organised by the NDDC to build capacity and improve service delivery among its 2024 staff cadre in Cross River State.
Represented by Evong Mondok, the NDDC Managing Director, Samuel Ogbuku reiterated the Commission’s commitment to human capital development, urging participants to take full advantage of the retreat for personal and professional growth.
Delivering the keynote address, the Country President of UN-POLAC, Ambassador Peter Ohagwa, alongside other speakers, advocated for effective institutional mechanisms to foster seamless workflow and enhance productivity across departments.
The three-day retreat offered participants essential skills and tools required for improved service delivery, in line with the Commission’s broader vision for a more effective and impactful NDDC.
