The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) says its procurement processes will soon go fully automated to ensure transparency.
The managing director of the NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku, said this during a week long 2026 batch B mandatory Continuous Public Procurement Capacity Development Training Programme, in Port Harcourt.
The training programme is organised by the Bureau Of Public Procurement, BPP.
The Director General, Bureau Of Public Procurement, Adebowale Adedokun, says the training is designed to improve the capacity of procurement officers.
He said performance on each of the training programme will serve as a measure for their growth.
The Managing Director of the NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku, says the procurement department of the commission will be fully automated within the first quarter of 2026 to enhance transparency while efforts will also be channeled to regular training of its procurement officers.
The training brought together procurement officers from the federal and state governments, including agencies like the NDDC.
