The Managing Director of the NDDC, Samuel Ogboku stated this during an inspection tour of the ongoing office building project in warr
Since the establishment of the NDDC in 2000, the Delta State office has been operating from a rented apartment, while its permanent building remains under construction.
Inspecting the building project, the NDDC boss expressed disappointment over the slow pace of work and threatened to terminate the project if no substantial progress was made in the next two weeks.
Ogboku said the warning became necessary as the Commission can longer continue to waste its resources on rent, for her State office.
He explained that the contractor had no excuse as the Commission has made huge financial commitments to see that the project was delivered timely.
