The Niger Delta development commission NDDC, says it will continue to sustain the free medical mission in the Niger Delta region inorder to improve the health conditions of the people, especially in rural communities.
The managing director of the NDDC, Samuel ogboku stated this when he flagged off the commission’s free Medical Mission in oke-ikpe Community, ukwa west local government area of abia state.
Ogboku, who was represented by the Abia state representative on NDDC board, Eruba dimgba, said the reintroduction of the Free Medical Mission was in response to the health challenges of the people of the Niger Delta region.
Some of the beneficiaries commended the NDDC, for coming to their rescue.
Over two thousand persons have so far benefitted from the week long exercise
