The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Ogun State Command has announced a significant breakthrough in its fight against illicit drug trafficking, seizing 347 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa and arresting a suspect in a targeted operation.
According to a press statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the NDLEA Ogun State Command, Haris Musa, the operation was conducted on December 28, 2025, at the Rounder area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Acting on intelligence, operatives of the Command discovered the illicit substance concealed inside a Honda Ridgeline pickup vehicle at a warehouse used for storage.

A suspect, Fatokun Rahmon, a 49-year-old male, was arrested in connection with the seizure.
The Ogun State Command of NDLEA has reiterated its commitment to curbing the menace of drug abuse and illicit trafficking in the state, and vowed to sustain its efforts in the new year.
