Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas has inaugurated two committees for the forthcoming International Investment Summit scheduled to hold in Jalingo in May this year.
Governor Kefas said the Summit will be a platform for the State to showcase its potentials in various sectors, with a target to attract local and international investors.
The Summit will focus on homegrown talents and technologies, and also the opportunities in mining,forestry, game reserve, and industrialisation that abound in the State among others.
Governor Kefas described the State as blessed with vast natural resources, which it attractive as a hub for investors.
The Governor tasked the main and local committees to organise a world class event that will transform the future of Taraba state.
Chairman of the International Investment Summit Committee, Ndudi Elumelu said the committee has the right composition to deliver on its responsibilities, noting that the event is coming at a time when Africa is in dire need of economic rediscovery.
Elumelu also charged all members of the organising committees to deliver on their duties diligently.
