NECO warns, no registration extension for school-based candidates for 2021 SSCE

The National Examinations Council, NECO, has said that it will not extend the registration period for the school-based candidates for the 2021 Senior School Examinations.

The Council in a statement by its Head, Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani, stressed that the registration exercise which began on March 31, will close on June 25, for the examinations expected to commence by July 5.

The statement noted that the measure is to allow the Council plan effectively for the conduct of the annual examination.

It called on the state Ministries of Education, Commandants and Principals, as well as School Proprietors, to take note of the closing date and also ensure candidates’ timely completion of the registration.
