The North East Development Commission, (NEDC), has donated office equipment to the governors’ forum within the region, to aid its operations.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NEDC, Mohammed Alkali, handed over the equipment to the Director General of the North East Governor’s Forum, Alh. Umar Gulani, at the Commission’s headquarters in Maiduguri.
The Commission works closely with the governors from the region.
Mohammed Alkali is NEDC’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
“We had donated a vehicle to the North East Governor’s Forum, and this time around we’re supporting the Forum with some office equipment, to assist them in discharging their functions effectively.”
Items donated include an air conditioning system, laptop computers, an industrial printer, and paper shredding machines.
The North-East Governors’ Forum Director General, Umar Gulani, assured that the equipment will be adequately deployed.
