The National Emergency Management Agency, (NEMA), is sustaining it’s support to Internally Displaced Persons, through its monthly supply of food and non food items to IDPs in Adamawa State.

The agency’s Head Of Operations for Adamawa and Taraba States, Midala Iliya, said measures have been put in place to enhance smooth distribution of the food items.
Food items distributed include rice, beans, seasoning cubes, tomatoes and vegetable oil.

The total number of the IDPs in the three official camps in Adamawa state is now 3,974(three thousand nine hundred and seventy four).
This shows a reduction in the number of IDPs in the state.
The management of NEMA in the state says it is delighted that the Internally Displaced Persons are beginning to return to their homes or relocate to safer environments.
