The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has flagged off the distribution of relief materials to victims of terrorist attacks in Niger State.
The Director-General, Mustapha Ahmad, led the Federal Government delegation to the Kontagora venue of the distribution.
Four thousand, five hundred bags of rice, beans and maize were distributed to the victims.
Also provided were two hundred and fifty cartons of seasoning, seventy-five bags of salt and one hundred and twenty-five cartons of tomato pastes, as well as vegetable oil.
Bags of cement and roofing sheets were also distributed.

The Director-General, Mustapha Ahmad, commended Niger State Government for the quick intervention, shortly after the incident.
A stakeholder in the Kontagora Emirate, Abdullahi Garba, appreciated the Federal and the Niger State Governments for the timely intervention .
The benefitting victims urged the Federal Government to beef up security in the area, to enable them to go back to their respective communities and continue with their daily affairs.
The victims of the recent terrorist attacks are from Kontagora, Wushishi, Mariga, Magama and Mashegu Local Government Areas of Niger State.
