NEMA has received another batch of 162 stranded Nigerian returnees from Libya.
The returnees arrived at the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, at about 3.56 pm, aboard a chartered aircraft.
A breakdown of the
returnees show that they are 41 adult females, 5 female children and 6 female infants, along with 96 adult males, 9 male children and 5 male infants, including 3 adult males with minor medical issues.

They were assisted back home by the International Organisation for Migration, (IOM).
This batch brings to a total of 91 flights for the assisted voluntary returnees and the total number of returnees is put at 24,000.
