The National Emergency Management Agency, (NEMA), in collaboration with the Kano State Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA), has sensitized Kano residents on the management of solid waste, and the preparation against floods in the state.
NEMA Territorial Coordinator, Kano State Office, Dr. Nurudeen Abdullahi, led a team to a road walk sensitization and public awareness in Kano.

Dr. Nura, represented by Ridwan Isma’il, pointed out that the sensitization was aimed at creating awareness on how best to dispose solid waste in Kano metropolis.
Representatives of Kano Refuse Management and Sanitation Board, (REMASAB), and Kano Urban Planning and Development Agency, (KNUPDA), Joined the road walk.
