The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission NERC, has approved the upward review of Electricity meters for end users.
A memo written to Distribution companies sighted by AIT shows that NERC gave the approval due to macroeconomic parameters, following the approval single phase meter will sell for N58, 661.69 instead of N44, 896.17.

Three phase meter that was 82,855.17 is now N109,684.36.
NEPC added, that the price review is subject to change upon the conclusion of the procurement process under phase 1 of the national mass metering program which will be effective from November 15, 2021.
