The Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission NERC has suspended its forthcoming meeting with power generation companies over what it calls ‘consistent disrespect’ by the Association of power generation companies APGC.
A letter sighted by AIT from the Commission to the Association quotes APGC as describing the Commission as “weak, incompetent and lacking in leadership and should be scrapped “.

NERC in response halted its scheduled 12 January meeting with the generation companies demanding a retraction and a public apology.
