Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has called on the twenty newly elected local government chairmen in the state to channel their resources to developing itheir various communities.
The Governor made the call when the local government chairmen paid him a visit at the Bauchi State Government House.
Governor Mohammed congratulated the newly elected local government chairmen and the PDP for winning all twenty local government seats during the August 17 council polls.
He told the chairmen to see their election as a call to service and warned them not to be carried away by serving few individuals, but focus more on delivering developmental projects to their communities.
The Governor urged the new council bosses to be financially transparent and remain connected with their people.
State Chairman of the All Local Governments Of Nigeria (ALGON)Mahmood Babama’aji pledged the new chairmen’s readiness to support the Bala Mohammed administration in meeting the expectations of the people at the grassroots.
