The Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, Major-General Christopher Musa has pledged his loyalty to the Nigerian state and the mandate of the current administration.
Speaking during a familiarisation visit to the Ministry of Defence, the CDS notes that the responsibility of proffering security solutions rests on their shoulders as Service Chiefs, and they are committed to the task.
The Permanent Secretary stressed that, to whom much is given much is expected hence the need for them to key into the vision of maintaining internal peace in the country, adding that the Ministry and Service Chiefs will collaborate in the onslaught against criminality.
The Ministry says with the crop of new Service Chiefs, tough time awaits criminals assuring Nigerians that they will restore peace in the country.
