Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has attributed his victory in the recent governorship election to God’s grace and faithfulness in a testimony he shared at the 2024 Edo Praise Concert, an event dedicated to honoring God.
The new Governor recalled what he described as a striking moment after his election victory on September 21, 2024, when according to him, he found a dead bat on his bed.
Governor Okpebholo further recounted how the Almighty fought his battles on his behalf throughout the electioneering period and ensured that his team secured total victory at the poll, as well his successful inauguration.
Also in attendance at the 2024 Edo State Praise Concert which held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, were the Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa; Senator Adams Oshiomhole; Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, other political leaders, clergymen, and Christian faithful from across the State.
Top Nigerian gospel artist, among the stars were Mercy Chinwo, Frank Edwards, Chioma Jesus, Mr. and Mrs. Revelation, as well as sensational Bamidele and Princess Peters.
Prominent preachers of the gospel of Christ, were also present at the religious programme to inspire and impact on the worshippers.
The November 2024 event marks the second edition of the Praise Concert in Edo State, the first was held in September 2024 as part of the lead-up to the off-cycle governorship
