Residents of the Federal Capital Territory have expressed worries and frustration over the worsening queues at many commercial Banks in the country, especially at the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) points.
Residents who spoke to ait.live want the federal government to intervene in the naira notes redesign policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria which has negatively affected their livelihoods.

The residents say the hardship in getting the new naira notes has paralyzed their businesses and their very lives.
Some of them said they can not withstand the stress of standing under the sun at the banks and ATM points and ended up not getting the cash.
