Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has granted clemency to 31 inmates, in the spirit of the New year celebration.
Governor Kefas also assures of his administration’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of Taraba citizens, and infrastructural development that will impact the lives of citizens
The Governor made this known in his new year broadcast, where he said the gesture is a reflection of his commitment to justice, compassion, and belief in the transformative power of rehabilitation.
He assured Taraba citizens that addressing the security challenges in the State is a constitutional responsibility that must be met by his Government, and efforts will be redoubled to make the State a safe haven for all.
Governor Kefas adds that the new year holds possibilities, and opportunities that will Foster development and growth in the State
He also called on citizens to embrace unity, progress, and work hand in hand in the interest of the State.
