NGO plans food distribution to 25,000 households in Nigeria State

25,000 household heads, are to benefit from COVID-19 palliatives donation by a Non Governmental Organization.

The Civil Societies are charged with the responsibility of sharing the palliatives to the deserving households within a week.

The items include food and safety equipment. They are part of the donor organization’s efforts to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The organization has a strong monitoring team on ground to ensure those who deserve the palliatives, benefit from them.

Toyosi Ogunsiyi who heads the delegation to Niger State said they are to ensure the smooth distribution.

Receiving the items, Ibrahim Ebbo, assured the donors that the items will be distributed to the deserving beneficiaries immediately.

The palliatives, which include rice, beans, maize and vegetable oil, are expected to reach the vulnerable and Internally Displaced Persons.

The Non Governmental Organization is targeting over two hundred thousand beneficiaries across Kano, Zamfara, Katsina, Kaduna, Niger, Plateau, Benue and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
