Nigeria’s stock market maintained its bearish trajectory, closing Thursday in the negative territory.
The All-Share Index and market capitalisation dipped by 0.05%, settling at 102,788.2 basis points.
Topping the losers’ chart were Morison Industries, C&I Leasing Plc, and Ikeja Hotel Plc. On the gainers’ side, SCOA Nigeria led the pack, followed by DAAR Communications PLC and May & Baker Nigeria Plc
The highest-value trades were recorded by Guaranty Trust Holding, United Bank for Africa, and Zenith Bank Plc.

In the global oil market, West Texas Intermediate and Brent Crude posted gains, while Nigeria’s Bonny Light remained in negative territory.
