The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), says it received 3,724,822 complaints bothering on all forms of human rights abuses in the year 2025.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Tony Ojukwu, SAN, made this known during the December 2025 Human Rights Dashboard event at the headquarters of the Commission in Abuja.
He said although the event was to review data obtained in December 2025, the Commission intends to draw a roadmap for 2026.
According to the report 390 kidnappings, 246 killings, 670 Child abandonment and 6 killings of law enforcement agents, were recorded in the month of December, 2025.
