The civil servants in Niger state are to undergo compulsory written examinations and interviews from this year before any form of promotion.

A statement by the permanent secretary of the state’s Civil Service Commission, Habiba Ahmad says, the examinations will be in two batches.

The first batch will be conducted between January and June, while the second will be between July and December.
