Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State says his administration will ensure that adequate measures are put in place to secure all public schools.
Governor Bello stated this while addressing the students of Government Science College Kagara, before handing them over to their relatives in Minna, the Niger State capital.
The Commissioner, Ministry of Education, Hannatu Salihu who represented the Governor, urged the parents of the students not to be discouraged by the recent development.

The Commissioner assured the parents and the students that the government is making arrangements to ensure that all Senior Secondary School three students will write their final examinations in an ideal atmosphere.
One of the parents of the students, Ubaidu, expressed gratitude to Governor Bello for ensuring the safe rescue of their children from the bandits.
He called on the students to focus on their studies to enable them to succeed.
