Members of the public have been asked to expose bad people among them.

Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State made the call when he led a delegation to Tungar Ba’ari, Adogon Malam and Mazakuka communities that were attacked by gunmen last week, in Mashegu Local Government Area of the State.

The governor stressed the need for the community members to work out modalities to fish out the bad eggs among them.

He assured the communities that the state government and the security agencies are working closely, to ensure that the activities of bandits across the state are curtailed

The Ward Head of Tungar Ba’ari, Garba Aliyu, described the incident where the bandits have abducted their men and women as horrible.

Garba Aliyu called on the state government to empower vigilantes in the area, as part of measures to end the persistent attacks on the communities by the bandits.
