Members of the public have been asked to expose bad people among them.
Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State made the call when he led a delegation to Tungar Ba’ari, Adogon Malam and Mazakuka communities that were attacked by gunmen last week, in Mashegu Local Government Area of the State.
The governor stressed the need for the community members to work out modalities to fish out the bad eggs among them.
He assured the communities that the state government and the security agencies are working closely, to ensure that the activities of bandits across the state are curtailed
The Ward Head of Tungar Ba’ari, Garba Aliyu, described the incident where the bandits have abducted their men and women as horrible.
Garba Aliyu called on the state government to empower vigilantes in the area, as part of measures to end the persistent attacks on the communities by the bandits.

Last week, bandits besieged the Tungar Ba’ari community in the Mashegu Local Government Area of Niger State in the early hours and killed seventeen persons who were praying in the mosque.
Nineteen persons were said to have been abducted, while eight others who sustained injuries are receiving medical attention.
