Aminu Bobi, Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, was said to have been kidnapped by gunmen on Saturday afternoon, on his farm in Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State.
A resident of the area confirmed Aminu Bobi’s abduction when he did not return from the farm.
He added that there was no communication from the Chairman’s abductors yet.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Wasiu Abiodun who is the Police Public Relations Officer in Niger State could not be reached for comments on the APC Zonal Chairman’s abduction.
