Three Policemen and two vigilante members have been killed by terrorists in a gun duel.
The encounter occurred along Bangi-Magoro on Monday in Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State
According to a statement by Police Public Relations Officer,Deputy Superintendent Of Police Wasiu Abiodun confirmed that Tactical Teams and Vigilante in Bangi Division have been mobilized to neutralise the terrorists
The terrorists the statement added were engaged in a gun duel at Kwanar-Dutse in Mariga Local Government Area as some of them had escaped into the forest with various degrees of bullet wounds

The Commissioner of Police Bala Kuryas urged the people of Niger State to continue to support and cooperate with the Command by providing them with reliable information.
