Youth Associations in Niger State have issued a forty-eight-hour notice to articulated vehicle drivers to vacate the roads blocked for some days or face mass action.
The Youth Associations led by the Chairman, National Youths Council of Nigeria, Niger State Chapter, Bello Shariff, issued the ultimatum, during a Press Conference in Minna.
Bello Shariff described the development as unfortunate.
He said the action was uncalled for and has resulted in innocent persons facing untold hardships.

The associations stressed that the ultimatum to the drivers is the first step of seeking peaceful means of resolving the ugly development.
Since the blockage of the road by articulated vehicle drivers for some days now, the movement of goods and services to different parts of the country has been affected.
