Following persistent terrorist attacks in different parts of Niger State, a special prayer session has been observed to seek Allah’s intervention.
The emergency special prayer session was held at the Government House, Minna, the Niger State capital in North-Central Nigeria.
The prayers were led by the Chief Imam of Minna, Sheikh Ibrahim Fari, and the Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Reverend Mathias Echioda.
They stressed the need for spiritual intervention when the need arises.
The clerics expressed hope that with the latest successes recorded in the fight against terrorism, in different parts of the state, the security challenges will soon be curtailed.

They charged the people of Niger State to always be prayerful in all their affairs.
The Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmad Ketso, appreciated the organizers of the prayers which he said will go a long way in making an impact in the fight against the terrorists.
Ahmad Ketso also urged the organizers to make it a regular tradition.
