A total of fifty participants selected from the Association of Niger State First Class Students have been trained in an intensive three-day programme.
It will serve as Business Development Service Providers, BDSPs by the Niger State government.
The initiative, according to the organisers, aims to foster the growth of small business start-ups and enhance the sustainability of existing enterprises.
The training organized by the Office of the Special Adviser on Social Investment Programme to the Niger State government is facilitated by the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University.
Mohammed Mohammed is the Vice Chairman of People with Disabilities.
Like other participants, he expresses appreciation for the programme, describing it as interactive, impactful, and educational.

The Special Adviser to the Niger State Governor on Social Investment Programme, Hauwa Bako, said that the goal of the training is to equip participants with the necessary skills, to act as consultants and support local businesses.
She highlighted that the training is part of a fully-funded initiative by the Niger State Government, aimed at ensuring each local government has a business development expert.
A facilitator, Adegboyega Adebanjo, highlighted that the training develops the participants’ analytical skills, as well as their competencies in business planning, operations, and human resource management.
At the end of the 3-day training, the Business Development Service Providers received certificates, as well as ongoing virtual training, to enable them to provide valuable support to small businesses and enhance the state’s economic landscape.
