The Progressive Governors Forum has restated its commitment to good governance based on human development and social democracy.
In a message to mark the 60th Independence Anniversary of Nigeria, Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi state says Governors elected on the All Progressives Congress, APC, platform will continue to pursue Democratic Development while putting in place, programmes to improve the welfare and living conditions of all Nigerians.

The Governors pledged to continue to support democratic principles based on the choice of the people as exemplified in recent Electoral exercises.
The Progressive Governors praised President Buhari’s leadership which they say has brought sanity to the polity and development to the nation.
The group promises to deploy all ingredients necessary to make Nigeria Democracy grow and become a model in Africa.
